Palo Santo is a natural wood aromatic incense that has been a harbinger of healing and good fortune for centuries. It's used a spiritual remedy for purifying and cleansing, to get rid of evil spirits and misfortune; as well as for medicinal purposes.
It has a fine citrus aroma with underlying notes of frankincense, its close relative. It is often used by shamans in sacred plant spirit ceremonies.
This Palo Santo is sustainably wild harvested from Ecuador from naturally fallen trees and branches that lie dead for 4-10 years before they are harvested.
Burning Instructions: Hold Palo Santo over an open flame, tilting the end down at a 45 degree angle. Once lit, let the wood burn visibly for 30 seconds to one minute. Blow out the Palo Santo stick and allow to smolder. Move about any space you would like to clear the energy. Place smudge stick in a ceramic or glass dish when finished.
Each set contains 4 incense sticks. Sourced in Ecuador.
