Tea Spirit, inspired by D.S. & Durga’s Spirit Lamp, is what happens when a séance meets a tea ceremony. It’s moody, magnetic, and utterly transportive like stepping into a candlelit parlor filled with velvet drapes, flickering shadows, and whispers that linger in the steam.
It opens with a flash of hot metal, bright peach water, and green petitgrain, evoking that charged, in-between moment when heat meets cool air and energy stirs unseen. At the heart, white ginger and coconut milk create a soft, spellbinding warmth; rich, smooth, and slightly exotic, like fragrant steam rising from a sacred cup. As it settles, radiant musk and smoky Bohea tea weave together in the drydown, leaving behind a mysterious, velvety trail that feels both comforting and otherworldly.
